The Sunrise Breakfast
The Amarillo Education Foundation conducts two major fundraisers each year: the Sunrise Breakfast and the Walk for Education.
The Sunrise Breakfast is held each fall at the Amarillo Club, atop Amarillo's tallest building, the Chase Center. Corporate and individual sponsors of this event are treated to a beautiful Panhandle sunrise, while dining on delicious breakfast and getting an update on the state of the school district. Additionally, the Breakfast features a guest speaker who typically speaks about the impact the Amarillo Independent School District had on his or her life.
